Types of muesli mix
The ingredients of muesli mix varies between brands. Some of the more expensive ones are deemed to be 'high quality'. Others are deemed to be a 'complete food' for rabbits i.e. no other food (such as hay) is needed in addition to the muesli mix. In reality, no type of muesli mix is suitable as rabbit food, definitely not as the sole diet. Hay, grass should always be available. The mixes that contain a lot of flakes are probably more harmful than those with more extrusions and pellets. Rabbit that are fed on them are likely to become obese, have dirty bottoms and develop dental problems.
