Writing a piece for the Vet Record

The Vet Record is the official journal of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) and contains news, opinion, letters, scientific reviews and original research papers and communications on a wide range of veterinary topics, along with disease surveillance reports, obituaries, careers information, business and innovation news and summaries of research papers in other journals.

The Vet Record is currently running a new, free to access, series of articles entitled 'What is your client thinking' that is gathering views from owners about the treatment that their pet has received. The aim of the series is to help vets give clients the best experience possible. Vets in practice have to consider a multitude of options for the animals under their care. Financial, logistical and emotional factors all play a part as well as the condition that is treated.  The editors of the Vet Record have asked me to publicise this feature as they are keen get views from rabbit owners, as they may have quite a different experience to the dog and cat owners.

Examples of the the first three articles feature can be found at:

More details of how to write the article can be found in a PDF that may be seen here.
