Dental terminology used in this website

Although it may be technically incorrect, the terminology that is used in this website to describe rabbit's teeth is easy to understand. It is illustrated in blue in the image below. 'Crown' refers the part of the tooth the protrudes into the mouth and ends with the 'occlusal surface'. 'Root' means the section of tooth that is buried in the jaw and ends with the the 'apex' of the tooth .
